This is an email from Dan Swanson ( Minnesota DNR ) to Bill Faber concerning Lake Alexander's milfoil situation:

Subject: Alexander Eurasian watermilfoil
Bill: We surveyed Alexander on July 15, 2004 and September 14, 2004. The Eurasian watermilfoil was growing
on the east side of the lake in the same area as 2003. The Eurasian water milfoil was growing below the water surface
on both dates. We surveyed the west public access and did not find any Eurasian watermifloil. I am sending you
two arc view maps from our survey work. If you have trouble opening them, let me know and I will send you copies of
both maps. Thankyou.
